A very wet day in Worcestershire

I couldn't resist another day with the little owl , so I managed to scrounge friday off work. I got in the hide at 8am and left the hide at 7pm and it rained the whole time

How much more rain is up there ?

Haven't  you gone home yet !!!!!!!!!!

Hot hot hot May 17th 18th

I spent saturday morning looking for dartford warblers but after 3 hours of looking and not seeing any I gave in to the temptation of the the stonechats and linnets.

 Sunday morning I spent at the local RSPB reserve, hoping to get some shots of a Glossy Ibis; thats been around for a few days. However it always stayed very distant.

Nice to see the Turtle doves back

A few weeks back I went to see a pair of little owls that have nested in the same oak tree for some ten years . It was fantastic to watch and photograph the owls at such close quarters.
