Goodbye to 2015

As the year 2015 comes to an end I would like to share a few of my favourite photos and fond memories. I would also like to say a big thank you to all the people that have made these opportunities possible.
Had many great afternoons with these owls

Very friendly Black redstart at brean downs

Forest of dean Crossbills provided some great entertainment

Crested tit at Loch garten

Hawfinch

I had a few trips to see these Penduline tits at darts farm Topsham

Thanks to Pete barker for the tip off on these Dartford warblers

Local barn owl

This Black- throated diver caused a stir when it droped in to Oxfords farmoor res

Terry and I made a very early start to catch up with these Black grouse

In June I had a very memorable  trip with Terry and Andy to the Shetlands to catch up with the local sea birds

Terry me and Pete the local farmer doing saturday night shetland style

All I can say is that it didn't look right and I remember thinking you don't belong here and Andy and Terry confirmed the rest. ( Swaninsons Thrush © Terry sherlock)

Kestrel

I  made three trips to Stoke to see this bird which was always very obliging , I was absolutely devastated to read in recent press that some prick had shot it  Why why would you do that .

Big thumbs up to the welsh boys for this one Kenfig pool

Great sunny day at laken heath

No year would be complete with out a kingy

Hope you all have a great xmas and a happy new year

Be lucky :0)
